The Research Unit of Evaluation of Development Policies and Programs is headed by the Director. The Director comes from the faculty members of the Department of Planning and Regional Development (DPRD) of the University of Thessaly (who are at the rank of Professor or Associate Professor) and his/her term of office is three years. The Director is elected after an election process in which the faculty members of the DPRD of the University of Thessaly participate. The responsibility of the Director is to ensure compliance with the Rules of Operation and to be accountable to the Assembly of DPRD. The Director may appoint a Deputy Director.
